Therapists contracted by Brightside Family Services are licensed as either an LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LCADC, and or LMFT licenses in the state of New Jersey. If not under supervision our therapists support one another via group supervision. Brightside Family Services offers bi-lingual Spanish/English speaking therapists. Therapists. Brightside Family Services specializes in substance abuse complex trauma, sexual offense, gender identity using a family systems approach. We also offer treatment for anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Brightside Family Services can provide Biopsychosocial and Substance Abuse evaluations in accordance with the standards set by the New Jersey Division of Children and Families. Michael Loupis, owner of Brightside Family Services has worked in both the New Jersey public school systems as a crisis counselor (alternative and mainstream settings) as well as in residential care, intensive outpatient programs and private outpatient. Michael Loupis currently teachers Practicum / Internship courses as Kean University and working towards licensure to become an Approved Clinical Supervisor. Michael believes that no matter what level of counseling experience you have, supervision is an important role of a therapist.
