Maxim Healthcare Services
In addition to IIC/BA/DDD/Mentoring Services, we offer a 12-week Nurturing Parent Program that is paid via Medicaid funds.
Nurturing Parenting Programs are evidence based programs for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. With 25 years of validation, SAMHSA (Substance Abuse, Mental health Services Administration) and NREPP (National Registry of Effective Programs and Practices) along with program clearing houses at the state level have recognized the Nurturing Programs as effective programs for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
How do I make a referral and what is different from a typical referral?
The same process is used when making a typical IIC/BA referral.
However at the time of referral please indicate a request for the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum specifically.
Depending on the available worker trained in the Nurturing Parenting program they authorization may be a JU1 or JU2 code which will be determined by availability of staff at the time of referral.
Please send all requests for this curriculum and referrals to the attention of Orkeem Davis, Child Behavioral Health Program Director, and/or Amanda Flood, Child Behavioral Health Recruiter. Our telephone number is 201-489-0222.
Maxim’s Hackensack Branch is located at 411 Hackensack Ave Suite 401 Hackensack NJ 07601. Our fax # is 877-717-2776 and phone # is 201-489-0222 and our provider # is 0061379.
Our Maxim staff roster specifies which IIC’s are trained in the use of the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum.
This is meant to be a 12 week curriculum. With consistent attendance and full participation the curriculum can be completed in 12 weeks, however extensions can be considered at the conclusion if goals are not met.
