Roots & Wings

We provide young adults who age out of New Jersey’s foster care system with safe housing, case management, education, counseling, and life skills in order to empower them toward self-sufficiency.

The Roots & Wings Model
Roots & Wings is a long-term, comprehensive solution to a problem overlooked today. We make a long-term investment in each young adult to allow them the time and support to build the educational foundation and social maturity they need to succeed. The case management services provided by our professional staff serve as a safety net, protecting our clients from the risks former foster youth face when left without support and guidance.

RISE Program
The RISE (Residential Independence Self-Sufficiency and Education) residential program provides young adults who have aged out of the foster care system with a stable environment so they can pursue education with full concentration. The RISE young adults live in the community, work part-time, and participate in their chosen educational programs. Who is Eligible?
