The mission of Plaid House is to provide residential and supportive services to adolescents. Plaid House teaches skills that foster positive growth, independence, and family reunification.
Plaid House Group Home: The program provides an opportunity for residents to learn and grow through daily living experiences. Treatment plans are individualized for each child to take into account their diverse needs.
Thenen House: Thenen House is a supervised transitional living program that offers five girls the opportunity to practice independent living skills in a supportive environment.
Aftercare Program: The goal of the Aftercare Program is to help adolescent males and females make successful transitions to the community from out-of-home placement.
Aging Out Program: The goal of the Aging Out Program is to provide life skills training to prepare New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (formerly known as Division of Youth and Family Services) teenagers for independence.
