CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties

Our mission is to be a strong voice for the best interests of vulnerable children who have been removed from their homes or are under court supervision due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We recruit, train, and supervise community volunteers to be advocates, mentors, and champions for each child on his or her journey to a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.

We provide additional programs and training throughout the year to strengthen volunteer advocacy efforts and ensure that children and teens in foster care are provided with the services that they are entitled to. Children who have a CASA Volunteer spend less time in foster care, achieve greater success in school, and are half as likely to re-enter the foster care system.

Currently, there are approximately 950 CASA programs throughout the United States, and CASA volunteers have helped more than 2 million children find safe, permanent homes in which they can thrive.
