Morristown Behavioral Health Services provides a variety of mental health services to the community.

Services include:

24 Hour Crisis Intervention-providesc assessment and crisis stabilization on-site  or through a 24-hour crisis hotline (973) 540-0100.

Access Center for Outpatient Services-enables individuals to make appointments for outpatient evaluations, obtain information and referral to community psychiatrist, and obtain details about free screenings and support groups

Behavioral Medicine- offers outpatient services to adults requiring assistance in coping with their health issues.

Chemical Dependency Services-provides programs to help adults overcome drug and/or alcohol dependency.  Programs include: intensive outpatient services, early intervention, relapse prevention, intensive aftercare services, referrals to detoxification services, psychoeducational programs, drug screening, dual diagnosis program for both chemical and mental health issues, couple and family counseling, codependency counseling and education, Driving While Intoxicated program.

Child and Adolescent Services-provides individual, group, and family counseling.

Comprehensive Group & Individual Outpatient Services-provides the following services to adults: family and marital counseling, family education and workshops, individual counseling, medication management, psychiatric assessments, and psychotherapy.

Compulsive Gambling Program- provides assessement, individual and group counseling.

Geropsychiatric Services-provides inpatient services to seniors who are experiencing psychiatric crisis.

Inpatient Hospitalization-provides inpatient services to adults who are experiencing psychiatric crisi.

Partial Care and Intensive Outpatient Program- when hospitalization is not necessary or no longer required, but outpatient services are too limited, Partial-Care or Intensive Outpatient programs may be appropriate.These programs allow patients to return home each day after treatment, and begin transitioning to everyday living situations and challenges. These structured programs (available at all sites), provide adults with short-term treatment that is tailored to their level of functioning. Patients in Partial-Care receive a full day of treatment, while Intensive Outpatient Programs offer a half day of treatment.

Sexual Assault Program- assists victims of sexual assault, as well as their loved ones, by providing services in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

Therapeutic Brain Stimulation-offers services for those with depression and other mood disorders. They provide electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) ' a treatment used to stabilize patients' moods.
