Early Head Start provides a seamless system of comprehensive educational, health, mental health and social services to low income and/or disadvantaged children through age three and their families.
 

Supporting Children-Birth to Three

The program offers weekly home visits for parent and child including planned  activities that nurture and support children and help parents understand how their child is growing and learning. Developmental and health screening and assessments that ensure children are growing and learning are all part of the service.

Supporting Pregnant Women

The program offers assistance and preparation for labor, delivery and newborn care and home visits with a Pediatric Nurse to promote good health as well as nutritional guidance.

Supporting Families

The program offers opportunities for parents to work with trained staff to set goals and make plans for the future.
