We are a general dental practice that services many special needs, disabled, and differently-abled children, adolescents and adults in Hackensack, NJ. Our office is closely affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center, and we treat patients both in our private practice setting and, when indicated, in HUMC's outpatient operating room.  At Peak Family Dentistry, we believe that everyone deserves excellent dental care from a caring team of dental professionals.

Our dentists, Dr. Lance Vicente and Dr. Jaya Gamble, will also take time to help you or a family member adjust and feel at ease while under their care.

Most of the time, our dentists get to know our special needs patients and can anticipate the techniques and environment that will make them feel comfortable. In other cases, our dentists set aside time to help patients with special needs adjust and adapt to the dental office setting.

Additionally, Dr. Vicente is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health, including operating room privileges at Hackensack University Medical Center. This distinction means he can accommodate patients who may do better in this type of setting, or patients who need the available backup plan of a hospital situation or inpatient treatment.

When appropriate, we may also suggest nitrous oxide, a safe gas that bolsters feelings of relaxation and calm.
