SNAP-Ed at Zufall Health Centers

NJ SNAP-Ed, a part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), is a nutrition and fitness education program aimed at teaching NJ residents how to make healthy, budget-friendly food choices and lead more active lives.

Nutrition educators provide free classes to the public that include cooking, physical activity, and learning about making healthy choices on a budget. The team works with an evidence-based curriculum targeted at different populations: children, adults, seniors, pregnant women, etc.

If your agency is interested in hosting events, please contact the team.

SNAP-Ed is an extension of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps. To learn more about SNAP-Ed and find healthy recipes or SNAP-Ed classes in your area, visit www.NJSNAP-Ed.gov.
