Provides financial assistance for minor children, plus their parents or relatives who have insufficient income.  Many recipients are also eligible for Food Stamps or Medicaid.  Each recipient completes a written application every six months, providing the agency with current information to determine eligibility.  A 5 year lifetime limit also applies.
