Anger Management

Anger Management is available at The Center using the Century Anger Management Model of Intervention.  This curriculum teaches eight essential tools of anger control to participants, usually in a class or group format. It is a highly structured 12-hour core program around the program’s workbook titled Anger Management for the Twenty-First Century. Usually, classes are held on a weekly basis for one hour each.

All participants are provided with this workbook which provides many worksheets and questionnaires to personalize and apply the tools of anger control in their daily lives. Participants are also encouraged to practice the tools between sessions and then briefly share their progress or challenges with the rest of the class. A certificate is issued at the completion of the program. Graduates are invited to return to future classes for a free “tune-up,” if needed.

Classes are offered weekly on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and groups are always open.

An initial intake is required for registration for purposes, and will cost the participant $30.00 and this includes the workbook which is used weekly.

Each class session costs $20.  Funding is available to Sussex County residents.

Each class will hold up to 16 participants, and participants must be 18 or older to enroll.
