Avidd Community Services of NJ provides support while promoting independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Established in 1986, Avidd Community Services of NJ currently provides quality services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Residential Services, Community Supports, Supported Employment along with a Learning Center and Recreation Activities. Our mission is to ensure that individuals with disabilities can fulfill their potential, become as self-sufficient as possible, and participate in the community around them. For this reason, Avidd dedicates its efforts to support people with disabilities in achieving their goals.

ACTS-Avidd Career and Transition Services provides a person-centered approach to assist students transition in the workforce. Our partners include: Staples, Petco, UFC Gym, Old Navy , Amazon and more!

Supportive Employment
Employment Services offered are individually designed to meet the goals of each individual and include supervised training, job placement, and community-based competitive employment. These services are funded through DDD, CBVI and DVRS.

Recreation Program
Avidd Community Services of NJ offers a recreation program that provides events and activities that promotes community and social inclusion. Each month participants have a chance to participate in community outings, arts and crafts, Bingo Night, and more.

Residences
Our group homes provide 24-hour supervision by a well-trained, professional, and caring staff. They have household chores and responsibilities, such as menu planning, budgeting, and personal hygiene skills. We currently have group homes throughout Bergen, Morris, and Somerset counties.

Community Supports
Avidd is committed to helping people thrive in their homes, schools, and jobs. We offer in-home supports to help individuals become more independent in their daily lives.
